Originally from the Washington DC area, Dr. Natalie Sorbello earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Following college she stayed in New England and performed a year of research on periodontal disease at Boston University. She moved to Maryland and received her doctorate in dental surgery in 2012 from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the world's first dental school. Afterwards she completed a one year General Practice Residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, in which she gained advanced training in oral surgery, sedation and pediatric care.

As a dedicated provider and advocate of continuing education she achieved her Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry which entailed completing over 500 hours of continuing education along with passing an extensive written exam. This distinction is held by only 6% of dentists nationwide. She is currently working on pursuing her Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry which requires over 1100 hours of continuing education which includes hands-on clinical training along with presenting clinical cases of patient treatment reviewed by her peers.  Within the last few years Dr. Sorbello has developed an interest in orofacial myology which shows how atypical patterns of the muscles of the mouth and face may interfere with the growth, development and function of the teeth. She has pursued further courses on this subject and was one of the first few dentists in the world to receive her Fellowship in Orofacial Myology which involved a comprehensive course along with a written and oral examination.

She enjoys getting to know patients and their families and is committed to providing the highest quality and compassionate care. Her patient philosophy is to "treat all my patients as if they are family and to give them the best care that I can possible."

She is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and IAOM (International Association of Orofacial Myology).

Dr. Sorbello is a classically trained singer and enjoys singing at her church, traveling, taking exercise classes, and getting together with her family and friends.

She looks forward to work with you and your team in the future!
